Dance Fever!

We attended a friend's wedding last night and my 2 "little angels" turned into dancing fools! Oh my goodness! We couldn't keep them off the dance floor. Needless to say they sure slept well last night! The pictures aren't all that great. They were just moving way to much for a great picture.

Ava dancing the night away!

He was all grins after dancing like a mad man!

My Little Ladybug

Ava finally got to wear her ladybug raincoat, and she was so happy! When she first got it, she wore it around the house wanting rain. Well it finally rained yesterday (ignore the date on the picture) and it was like 40 degrees so she got to wear the coat. If that is all it takes to make her happy, boy I could have saved some money on all those toys!

Skating Parties are so FUN!!!

We went to a friend's Skating Party on Saturday and it was so fun! And the best part Ryan and I didn't have to put on skates! I haven't skated in forever, so the thought of Blake and Ava learning to skate while I tried to remember to skate scared me to death! But it all worked out and they had a great time. It wasn't long before they didn't want their hands held and of course they can do it all by themselves.

It is hard to see in this picture, but don't you just love Rainbow colored shoelaces!

Mr. Independent! I was really proud of him though, he did a great job.

I have never seen a skate so big. Blake wanted to "drive" it around so bad, but I guess it was broken. Sorry, buddy.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Me and my "mostly perfect" family! Thanks for celebrating my birthday with me. I love you guys!

Me and my date Blake. The excitement on his face is not from being with me the picture was taken right as he found out his best friend CJ just walked into the restaurant.

As much as I hate to admit it, yes I had a birthday. But I am officially counting backward now so I turned 24! Blake took me on a "double date" for my birthday. Him and I and Ryan and Ava. Blake got all dressed up for me and even paid for "our" meal out of his Lightning McQueen wallet. He was so sweet! Why can't he be like that all the time?

Monster Jam

Ryan and Blake went to Monster Jam at the Peoria Civic Center Saturday. Attached are pictures of Blake's 2 favorite Monster Trucks, Raminator and Avenger. Don't you love Blake's headphones? He is not one for loud noises, so they were a must. I think they had a good time, but they want to do a outside venue next time. More Monster Truck action, well at least that is what Ryan says!

Mister Blakey and Big Girlie

That is what they call each other. So sweet! He asked her if she wanted a piggy back ride up and down the hallway, so that is what they did. She doesn't hold on very well, so they kept falling over. They would giggle and giggle and do it again. I just had to take a picture. They DO like each other sometimes!

A Work in Progress

It's funny, I was wanting to change my blog. I was getting tired of how it looked.
And then I saw I have a follower (Hi Kelly). Well I had to check out her blog and it looked so cute and then I found www.thecutestblogontheblock.com How fun! But just another something to keep me busy from doing my "real" work. Oh well, it will get done someday!

Where does time go?

Well my intentions were good for this whole blog thing. Something exciting happens at least once a week to write about, right? Well, I guess not for this family. 2 weeks have gone by and nothing, so I went backwards. "Where does the time go" can you believe that is Ava almost 2 years ago to the day! She was just as blonde back then too. Just not much of it. The picture was taken in her room when we lived in Madison. Did we actually live there? It seems so long ago. What a cutie!
